SELF-CARE BENEFITS

The H3 Wellness Cohort Program (Retreat) is designed to offer a holistic and transformative experience for participants, focusing on healing, growth, and the development of supportive practices for healthcare professionals. Through a series of thoughtfully curated sessions, the retreat aims to:

  • Holistic Goal-Setting: Participants will learn to set balanced personal and professional goals using the T.H.R.I.V.E framework and self-compassion techniques, focusing on comprehensive wellness and actionable steps for self-care.
  • Increase Self-Awareness and Emotional Healing: Participants will deepen their understanding of their caregiving experience, using narrative sharing and somatic practices to process emotions and trauma, enhancing emotional regulation and self-awareness.
  • Narrative Empowerment: Through writing, participants will explore and reclaim their stories of trauma and resilience, recognizing writing as a powerful tool for personal empowerment and healing. 
  • Enhancing Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing, guided imagery and progressive muscle relaxation. Deep understanding of the human system under stress, and at rest.
  • The Hero’s/Healers Journey: Navigating healthcare and self-care as healthcare professionals.
